In mid-2004, a new partnering took place at Spadone, as the hundred-year old company merged with HyPex, Inc., a builder of custom equipment and specialty machining. This merger enhances customers' opportunities to receive cost-effective design and custom engineered applications from two very talented, experienced, and client-focused companies.

While Spadone offers precise machine design for the rubber, tire, and plastic industries, HyPex complements this with more than 30 years of custom manufacturing and design/build experience of custom machinery, pharmaceutical tooling and specialty machining.

Every product we supply our customers will be made on-time and of unparalleled quality. Our staff of qualified engineers and technicians demand that each part of every machine function at its peak performance before it leaves our plant.

It is our belief that this partnering will enhance both company's existing capabilities and continue in our ability to provide superior service and unique solutions to the rubber, tire, and plastics industry.

Spadone Incorporated was a family company currently owned and managed by two brothers, who succeeded their father and grandfather. Founded over 85 years ago at the end of World War I, the company developed and manufactured a high production machine to cut passenger and truck tire fabric on the bias. Known in the industry as the "Spadone", many of these cutters are still operating in rubber and tire plants throughout the world.

Spadone-Hypex Incorporated designs, manufactures and sells special production and processing machinery for the rubber, tire and plastic industries. These machines range from individual units to fully automated lines for handling, cutting, and processing of production materials.
