Spadone Bias Cutters and Bias Cutter Systems have been serving industry for the past 70 years and their reliability have made them a mainstay worldwide. The two cutters shown combine flexibility, high production, accuracy, and economical performance.

All of our cutters can be customized to meet specific requirements. Letoffs and a wide range of windup sizes and styles are available to enhance their capabilities. Optional features such as spreader rolls, safety chucks and pricker rolls can also be furnished to specification.

Low Angle Bias Cutter Cut Angles from 12 to 90 Degrees Close Accuracy Cuts steel cord and textile fabric The Spadone Low Angle Bias Cutter is designed to cut ply stock at angles of 16 to 90 degrees from full width rolls of fabric. The cutter is normally furnished complete with letoff and windup. The fabric is clamped to the belt during the cutting operation. The cutter beam is supported from an overhead ring with a readily visible angle scale and indicator. The standard conveyor is 30' long but can be extended to provide room for supplemental operations

Horizontal Bias Cutter Cuts angles from 45 to 90 Degrees Close accuracy Production in excess of 20 CPM Cuts steel cord and textile fabric The Spadone Horizontal Bias Cutter is designed to cut ply stock at angles of 45 to 90 from full width rolls of fabric and is widely used to tire cord and other calendered fabrics. Width of ply is controlled by photocells or a servo package and is easily visible on a readout scale. The standard servo powered conveyor is 17' long but can be extended to provide room for supplemental operations. The cutter is normally furnished with letoffs and appropriate windups.
